4. Privacy and Security

• Anonamed does not require full legal names; users may enter a first name, nickname, alias, or pseudonym.
• Email addresses are stored in an encrypted database separate from medical data.
• Medical records are stored securely on AWS cloud servers, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
• Users may create a dedicated email for privacy reasons.

5. Medical Disclaimer

• Anonamed does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• The QR code is intended to facilitate emergency medical care but is not a substitute for professional medical services.
• Users acknowledge that medical professionals may still require additional information before administering treatment.

• The service is in beta and may contain bugs; users assume all risks associated with use.

• In the future, Anonamed may charge an annual fee of $10 USD.
• Charter members who join during the beta phase and request free lifetime membership via email may retain free access.

• Certain critical conditions (e.g., allergies, heart conditions, blood thinners) should be included for effective emergency response.
• Users can manually add conditions or medications not listed in the dropdown menu.

• The QR code should be set as the phone’s locked screen wallpaper for easy emergency access.
• The QR code is intended for emergency use; users are advised to take precautions against unauthorized access.

10. International Use

• Users are responsible for changing the language of their records when traveling to non-English-speaking countries.
